I emailed the customer service line with three questions. Each was answered (and more) within ten minutes in an email response by Rachael. I was able to navigate the online ordering no problem. Dealing with Baka has been amazing. All the reps we spoke to were kind and courteous. Our process to switch was a little more complicated because of a corporate account migration but they explained the process and made sure we knew exactly what to do and what was happening. When I ported my number, they called to make sure I'd receive the text to avoid me being inconvenienced if I missed it. I can't recommend the experience enough. We used the online chat and had to call in multiple times to check on each step of the process (for two numbers) and it was stress-free each and every time with little to no wait. Definitely wish I had done this sooner!

On Friday my 1 1/2 y.o. LG G5 died very unexpectedly. I called Baka for a replacement phone and dealt with Daniel W. He was friendly, knowledgeable & very thorough. While walking me through the process he ensured that I was aware of the costs associated with an early replacement. He made sure that the phone I wanted was in stock. He also agreed to mark the order "rush". Monday morning I received notice that the phone was in Purolator's hands and Tuesday morning I took delivery of my new LG V30 in Sault Ste Marie. The Corporate plan has evolved with the times. Previously, the maximum data available on the EPP was 3GB, which, by todays standards isn't much. Now at 5GB, it's better, but not quite there yet since I do a lot of streaming music, podcasts etc. (Note, that this is more of a Bell component).
The Baka site has evolved as well, this process to upgrade my phone and select a plan was...seamless, as it should be.
I'm a satisfied customer and will recommend baka to friends, family and colleagues.

The order process was pretty user friendly. I was just a little frustrated with how quickly prices can change without notice. A phone went from $0 to $189 in a day with no advance notice, and I would have ordered if I knew that was going to happen. Fantastic service from BAKA! I would compare their level of customer service to that of WestJet, and that is high praise, trust me! have never dealt with a telecommunications company that is so easy to interact with and I actually had a pleasant experience as opposed to dreading having to contact them. The initial contact person was Scott and he was extremely helpful. My new phone arrived quickly and when I called to activate I spoke with Amy who was equally fantastic. I am so pleased with my Baka experience. My customer service rep, NICOLE WAS EXCELLENT. She helped me place my last minute Xmas order, while I was on holidays in the US, contacted me when there was a glitch; straightened out the glitch and followed the order thru delivery. A delivery issue from Baka resulted in another call from Nicole, once I was back in my home in Ontario. It was so nice to hear from her again! This was straightened out quickly at Baka. Finally, I called just a few minutes ago to thank her for all of her assistance. I also wanted her manager to hear these praises. Nicole was able to quickly help me find the link where I could praise her work.It's SO nice to know that the person you are speaking with will go out of her way to help you out! Thank you Nicole! Thank you to the rest of your team who supports you. Will I continue to work with Baka in the future? ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!

I could not possibly give Ron Delcarmen at the East Mall location anything less than a 5 star review. I have a personal phone purchased through the Baka plan that my company provides. My wife is the one that actually uses it so I did not really know what was wrong with it when it stopped charging. The customer service Ron provided as we tried to figure out what was wrong with my 18 month old phone was the kind of service you always hope to get, but very rarely do. He was friendly, helpful, genuinely interested in assisting me, reviewed all of my options with me clearly, gave us a "loner" to cover the repair period, and got me the best result possible given my situation. On 2 occasions I was in the store and saw Ron treat other customers and his staff the exact same way. I'm not one to write reviews usually, but Ron definitely deserves acknowledgment !!! Thank you.
